These shoes are fabulous. Very comfortable, soft, and convenient to slip on and off. I wear them to work and am on my feet a lot. I was worried about the heel slipping as it had been described in the other reviews. It does slip, and at first the shoe feels a little awkward because the heel does not come up as far as I am used to. The slippage has turned out to be no problem at all though because the shoe is so cushioned; it does not wear at your heels. I wouldn't choose to work out in these, but if you are in the medical profession and are on your feet a lot they are wonderful. Make sure you get the right size, they will stretch a little when you wear them. I usually wear an 8. This 8 felt slightly tight at first, but it loosened up and formed to my foot really quickly. I think it is probably good for these shoes in particular to feel a little tighter at first so that the heel will slip less.
